...ruined my Thanksgiving...my poor babe ended up making the three turkeys, the stuffing, and gravy for our home, my family. and HIS family...he's wonderful and follows directions well - EVERYTHING turned out tasting good...but I couldn't go to eat with either family because the doctor said I was contagious...he went with the boys to his family and delivered the turkey to my family...maybe it's better with my sisters at odds with each other...I love my babe... -

My sisters made up - dammit - I wish they would stop the silliness and grow up! Thank goodness I have Armando - he's always there for me when I need him...I'm so glad we're so close now - I wouldn't have been able to get through all of this without him and the boys...I wonder what Momma thinks up there in Heaven seeing them act like little girls - UGH - BIG FAMILIES!!! He took me to New York, he bought me a new, silver Dodge van, he gave me the most beautiful anniversary rings that he designed himself...and now he surprised me with this new Dell laptop. It was such a nice day...Daddy's birthday party was awesome! I can't believe he's 80 years old. He's doing better - healing from the loss of Momma...all of his surviving brothers and sister were there and BILL GOT MARIACHIS! What a great surprise. It was a wonderful day...there was a BIG orb in one of the pictures Alex took - I bet it was Momma's spirit - it didn't appear in any other picture that was taken in that area...

There was a little girl who came to town. The car she rode in raced northward toward a new town, a new home, a new life. A new life so different from what lay behind...the death of a mother when she was 9 months old. Living with aunts who treated her like a "cienicienta" a Cinderalla...at the age of 5, cleaning the houses of these 3 women...sleeping on a cold wooden floor, in the middle of winter, with only a thin blanket, part to lay on, the other part to cover herself...only her... -

Today was the first day I was able to actually sit at this computer for any amount of time - my husband has been fantastic taking care of me - I begged to leave the hospital two days after the op - he's been so wonderful - I'm healing well - a bit sore but the doc says that's to be expected...I'm just glad it's over.... -

I had to do all the pre-op stuff...they CUT MY ARM AND MADE ME BLEED TO SEE HOW FAST I CLOT!! GOOD GRIEF!! I hate the site of blood! Everything IS A GO - it's going to be very painful - but - I dunno - we'll see...my husband is going to stay with me, he wants me to get a private room - like when we had the boys - he was there with me through it all - I'm glad we are "working" - I only wish things had worked out sooner - all of the chat room/post board garbage I went through... -

Mando was working out in the yard. Alex burned two fingertips on his right hand - something about he bent over to check the engine on the lawnmower (thank goodness it was not on) and he touched it and it was still very hot. He was in a lot of pain but not crying. I put ice on it and cold water. I heard Momma's voice, CLEARLY saying, "Hechale A and D ointment." (She used to swear by that stuff.) I went to the medicine cabinet and it was right in front... we hadn't used it in... -

OK, I'm breathing, I'm breathing - sort of frightened, but I'll be ok. The doctor's office just called and gave me the information for when my hysterectomy is scheduled. I'm a bit scared, but I bounced back pretty quickly when I had the boys by c-section - recovered in four weeks and I was told 6 - so I think things will be great! I have to keep reading this to make myself believe it... -

It's funny how badly I want to return with my family...it was the time of my life...and I shared it with the most important people in my life - we bought furniture - I fell in love with it the minute I saw it on the showroom floor...funny...when the saleslady wrote up the ticket and printed it out, the furniture was called, "The Central Park" edition - ha! - I watched the Tony Awards last night and it only made me want to move there more - but we can't - not now - when my babe... -

Waiting to find out when I'm going to have this hysterectomy is a pain in the uterus! I HAVE to work Camp Edges right now until the end of June to have money for my son's college tuition! My poor babe is working his butt off too - and I know he's worried...really worried...I'm scared too - at least it's not cancer...it has to be the first week of July to give me time to recuperate before school starts in August - ugh - I wish that doc would call... -
